Heraldic description
Your arms written out the way a medieval herald would record them. What it means
Meanings follow the traditional readings of heraldic writers from the 1600s onward.Your family coat of arms
Design arms for your family by the real rules of medieval heraldry, then wear them or drink from them. Printed to order.
Name & motto
Shield
Heraldry's one hard rule: a metal (gold or silver) never sits on another metal, and a colour never sits on another colour. Faded swatches are the ones that would break it.
Emblems
Faded colours are unavailable because they break heraldry's oldest rule: never metal on metal or colour on colour, so arms stay readable from a distance.

Good to know
How long will my order take?
Each piece is printed after you order, usually within 2 to 5 business days, then shipped. Most orders arrive 7 to 12 days after you order. You'll get tracking by email when it ships.
Is this my family's historical coat of arms?
No, and we'd be wary of anyone who claims otherwise. Coats of arms were granted to individual people, not to everyone who shares a surname. Our designer builds new arms for your family that follow the real medieval rules, and records them in a proper heraldic description.
Can I change my order after paying?
Email us within 12 hours. If it hasn't gone to the printer, we can change or cancel it.
My order arrived damaged or misprinted
We're sorry. Send a photo and your order number (it starts HA-) within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace or refund it, and you keep the original. See the refund policy.
